HCC uses only essential cookies. They keep you signed in to your dashboard or admin area and help the site work properly.

We do not use any advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics cookies. If that ever changes we'll update this page and ask for your consent first.

Alongside those cookies, the site keeps a few small settings in your browser's own storage. None of them identifies you or is sent to us:

• hcc-theme remembers whether you chose light or dark mode.
• hcc-splash-seen-at and hcc-splash-shown remember that you have seen the opening animation, so it plays once on this device rather than on every visit. The first stays until you clear your browser's storage; the second is gone when you close the tab.

We count how the public pages are used: which pages are read and for how long, where visitors arrive from, which buttons are pressed, and whether our application forms are started and sent. It tells us what to improve.

This counting sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device. Each visit is given a random number that exists only while the page is open and is forgotten when you close or reload it. We never record your IP address, your device details, or anything you type into a form, and nothing we count can be linked back to you. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is counted at all. Signed-in areas of the site are never counted.

Some links we share carry a campaign tag in the web address, so we can see which post or promotion brought a visit. The tag is read from the address; no cookie is set. More in section 3.5 of our Privacy Policy.

You can clear or block cookies through your browser's privacy settings. Blocking the essential ones means you won't be able to stay signed in.
